When working with a SAS® Financial Management Data-entry table in release 5.1, you might encounter issues with deleting values from multiple cells. This might occur if any of the cells to be deleted contain a zero value.
For example, you enter values for multiple months for a single account (all on the same row in the table) and all months have nonzero values. You are able to highlight multiple cells on that row, select delete, and have all the cells revert back to their original value.
However, you enter values for multiple months for a single account (again, all on same row in the table) and one of the months contains a zero value. If you highlight multiple cells on that row (including the cell with the value 0.00) and select delete, none of the values that you entered are deleted.
The identical behavior occurs for columns in the table.
Similarly, you can work with cells across multiple rows, provided that the cells are contiguous.
For example, you select the contiguous range in the table B5:D7 and none of those cells contain zero values. You can select delete and all the cells revert back to their original value.
But, you select the contiguous range in the table E5:G7 and one of those cells contains a value of 0.00. If you highlight the multiple cells in that range (including the cell with the value 0.00) and select delete, none of the values that you entered are deleted.
